The Solution

Kill and Remove the Dust Mites and their Eggs.

To assist those who suffer from allergies and to help you to maintain the highest levels of comfort and hygiene, it is necessary to reduce the dust mite population, especially in the bedroom where we tend to spend a large part of our lives.   

Those who suffer from allergies will gain most advantage by thorough cleaning of the bedding.   Of course we regularly wash the sheets, pillow slips and covers, but it is not possible to reach deep into the interior of the mattress where the dust mite population live in huge colonies of hundreds of thousands.  Even regular vacuuming with a domestic cleaner will not satisfactorily remove the dust mites and their droppings.   When using a household vacuum cleaner, any live mites which are sucked up will blow right through the machine into the bedroom atmosphere, often causing a further attack or sneezing.

It is not only necessary to remove the dust mites, but to kill them and their eggs first to reduce the risk of re-infection.   If you use chemical sprays, you are likely to exacerbate the problem for allergy sufferers.  Live Dust Mites are just like most living things, they will cling on to their lives at all costs and are almost impossible to remove with  domestic vacuum cleaners.  At BedMedic, we use high powered UV-C light technology, which is completely harmless to the environment, but will thoroughly kill all the dust mites within its reach. The dead mites and their debris are then thoroughly cleansed from deep within the mattress with our industrial strength vibrating vacuuming system.
